We empower STEM professionals to transform public education by teaching in high-need communities. Enduring STEM achievement gaps disproportionately limit opportunities for low income students and students of color. STEM professionals are uniquely positioned to utilize their real-world expertise to deliver an authentic and relevant education to the students who can benefit most. The EnCorps STEM Teachers Fellowship recruits, prepares and supports career-changing and retiring STEM professionals, as an innovative, long-term solution to the shortage of high quality, impactful educators for under-resourced students in high need communities.
