The Share for Life Foundation, Inc. (“S4L”) is a 501 (3 ) tax-exempt non-profit organization based in New York City that creates educational programs and videos for at-risk youth, teenagers, adults and seniors living in public housing communities. Founded in 2002, our mission is to help people achieve self-sufficiency, make healthy decisions and become productive members of society.
S4L specialize in professional and personal development training workshops that provide opportunities for youth to explore their interests and creativity. Teens build skills that support academic achievement and cultivate leadership; and seniors interact in engaging workshops. Our programs foster social and emotional competencies and physical well-being.
Many of S4L programs are offered for youth, teens and seniors with workshop presentations and materials tailored to be developmentally appropriate for the participating age group. Handouts, Pre- and post-surveys will be given to evaluate individual workshop sessions and the program’s effectiveness.
