After nearly two decades assisting fostering of the rule of law, spreading democracy, teaching constitutional law and leading cutting-edge litigations against conglomerates in Asia, I returned to New York to discover a country polarized by the political parties, destroyed by identity politics and politicians that choose to divide us for their own political interests. We need to return to the middle ground and push our politicians to reunite our United States. We need, JFK-like Democrats and Eisenhower-like Republicans. The middle ground shall bring us back together - the extremes shall exasperate the problems. 

Our country is in a politician-caused chaos. Our country is controlled by a cadre of vested political self-appointed elites, political hacks andpolicy hacks. When elections are over, they ignore us. Our country is divided by these political leaders to, merely, further their own political, business and political interests.  

We need to Wake Up. We need to Choose Independence over this Politician-Fostered Political Chaos. 

I am throwing my hat in the ring, since I see no candidate that is a Rational, Moderate, Independent, Experienced Professional with the abilities to re-unite this great City and return us to its better days. 

I am throwing my hat in the ring to play my part in healing America, fostering opportunities for our at-risk and low-income youth, reintegrating are paroled convicts into the mainstream, building confidence, pride and modern skills needed for our children to succeed in this competitive world, providing opportunities for our less fortunate, cleaning, protecting our streets and serving our seniors and most importantly focusing the New York City Council to choose the Rational, Reasoned and Researched Middle Ground over the Politically Expedient. 

We need to return to what made this country the chosen destination for so many of our families.  ​

Give People a Second Chance

Let us Wipe Clean Criminal Records of Convicts after Five Years without a Criminal Charge, however, increase sentences for repeat offenders. Reality is few decent employment opportunities are available for those with criminal records, we are a country that respects the underdog and second chances, allow our youths to have a second chance. A bad choice when young, should not lead to a ruined promising future. 

Foster Equality of Opportunity 

Reality is we are not all born with equality of opportunity. Children without a Dream, a Role Model and Solid World-Class education end up, too often, in jail, entrenched poverty, dependence on the government and leads to an America that is not competitive. All can contribute to this great country, we need accountability in education, demand respect from our students and create a city-wide mentorship and internship program. Our Children Need and Deserve More. 

Treat all With Respect & Dignity

Let us Clean-up our Jails, Mental Health Facilities, Facilities for the Homeless & Public Housing, but insure these institutions are fiscally responsible and accountable via vigorous oversight programs. Affordable Housing is not a dream - we can make this a reality. Home ownership is not a dream - we can make this a reality. 

Protect our Streets & Quality of Life

Let us Support our Police, But Throw the Book at the Bad Cops. Law Enforcement, as a whole, is not the problem. We are losing good cops, because of the hate filed rhetoric of politicians that polarize us in order to gain political street cred and motivate voters to vote. When the election is over, we never hear from them. 

Help Those in Need

Let us help those in need and help educate our young adults by Creating a NYC Peace Corps that pays and teaches our young adults to give back to the community, keep schedules, work diligently and work with care and respect for others. 

Foster Diversity of Opinions, Cultures & Races

Diversity is not, only, cultural, racial, sexual and ethic diversity, but diversity of opinion and religions. Let us move past identity politics fostered by the political elites and let us all be one New York that works together to respect diverse opinions (and even absurd opinions). Political Correctness is destroying what makes New York great. 

Fiscal Responsibility

Fraud, Waste & Abuse is leading to the bankruptcy of our great City. We should Fight Fraud, Waste & Abuse by a truly independent and non-political oversight board. ​We need to make tough choices and the only choice is not merely to raise taxes. We are scaring away too many needed taxpayers.
