  • About Us

Temple Beth Shalom and Congregation Beth Israel, both Reform congregations in Austin, Texas, pride ourselves on our commitment to social justice. Our congregations work diligently to provide our members with opportunities to perform acts of loving-kindness for each other, for the Austin community, and for the greater world—Jews and non-Jews alike. We promote social justice and tzedakah through programs that support Israel, feed the hungry, house the homeless, care for the sick, comfort the bereaved, and advocate for the marginalized in our society.
