About Us

Looking for a way to give back to your community? Want it to be fun and rewarding at the same time? Volunteer for Operation Frontline in conjunction with the Tarrant Area Food Bank!

Operation Frontline is nutrition-based cooking class created as a long-term solution to hunger which provides:

1. Budgeting, grocery shopping, and resource managment 2. Cooking instruction and creative meal and “leftovers” planning by local culinary professionals. 3. Nutrition instruction by local health professionals.

The class is available to low income populations in Fort Worth and 13 surrounding counties in the form of 5 curricula:

1. Eating Right (available in Spanish) - Nutrition & cooking for adults 2. Side by Side (available in Spanish) - Nutrition, cooking, & family meals for parents & their 6-8 or 9-12 yr olds 3. Kids Up Front - Nutrition & cooking for kids ages 8-10 or 10-12 4. Power of Eating Right - Nutrition & cooking for teens 5. Step Up to Eating Right - Nutrition & cooking for pregnant or parenting teens.
