the Women's Creative Collective for Change

Women's Creative Collective for Change (WCCC) is an organization whose mission is to honor and bear witness to under-heard, under-represented voices (with special emphasis on the voices of women of color.) Although not exclusive to womyn's stories, WCCC holds safe space for individuals to come together in a post-colonial, post-patriarchal setting with the hope of honoring and empowering members’ truths and autobiographies through discussion and art. WCCC is curious about how the present and historical landscape changes when the stories of women and "minority groups" are centralized. WCCC held member or guest-led workshops in writing, movement, theatre therapy, song, and storytelling.
