  • About Us

The Washington Hop Commission serves hop growers in the state of Washington and provides administrative support for three additional non-profits serving the hop industry, including two national organizations. See www.usahops.org for more information on our programs. Programs address research and issue management for agricultural topics impacting hop growers, outreach/education of growers and brewers, foreign market development, and other programs as directed by the hop industry. US hop growers produce over 40% of the world's supply of this important ingredient for brewing. The state of Washington contributes 75% of this crop. While the Washington Hop Commission is legally structured as a state agency (government), our operations and mission are more similar to a non-profit. In addition, we manage three non-profit organizations under contract.
