League of Women Voters Berkeley Albany Emeryville
The women and men of the League of Women Voters work to see that every citizen can vote, every vote is counted and every voter has fair and unbiased information on issues and candidates. We offer fair pro and con descriptions of issues when we educate voters.
We do not support or oppose candidates or parties, but we are political. When we have adopted policy positions on an issue, we also campaign for and against proposed laws, ballot measures or government actions on that issue.
We study issues thoroughly before we take a position. We welcome all women and men over 18 years old as members. We invite non-members to come to our public meetings and check out our team meetings.
