Executives' Alliance

About Us

The Executives’ Alliance for Boys and Men of Color (the “Alliance”) is an institutional membership-based philanthropic network of over 40 national, regional, and community foundations driven by a bold vision that all boys and men of color will enjoy full opportunity and inclusion in all the opportunities America has to offer.  Through strategic use of collective action and investments, advocating for effective public policy and systems change, and by elevating the collective voice of philanthropic leaders, the Alliance seeks to remove structural and systemic barriers and increase economic, educational, civic and health opportunities that strengthen individuals, families, communities and the nation as a whole.

Represented primarily via their Presidents & CEOS, the Alliance’s member foundations are committed to advancing the following strategic objectives:

  • Increase philanthropic investments in boys and men of color.
  • Elevate the public voice of foundation executives as field leaders committed to improving life outcomes for boys and men of color.
  • Develop strategic collaborations and opportunities for coordination amongst philanthropic institutions.
  • Increase public will and policy attention to boys and men of color.

The Alliance’s value proposition lies in the promise of deeper impacts in these areas made possible due to strategic collaboration among philanthropic institutions.  Its informal motto is, “If you want to go fast, go alone.  If you want to go far, go together.”  For more information about the Executives’ Alliance and its strategic priorities, click here.

The Executives’ Alliance is a sponsored project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), an equal opportunity employer.  Returning citizens are encouraged to apply.
