Founded forty years ago, the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence continues to be the only provider of services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. This crucial organization supports and advocates for the rights and protection of victims/survivors of stalking, domestic violence, sexual assault, and dating violence through crisis intervention and prevention service, advocacy, safe shelter, counseling, and education. Hope Harbor is the Coalition’s five-acre campus with three buildings: a 35-bed shelter for adult and youth victims, a building for advocates and office staff, and apartments for transitional and workforce housing (opening June 1).
