Platform for Labour Action

Platform for Labour Action has a decade of experience providing legal aid and social support to vulnerable working populations in Uganda. In particular, we focus on protecting the rights of women and children. PLA works not only with persons who are already the victims of exploitative employment but also those who are in danger of falling into exploitative conditions of work.

PLA engages in awareness raising, capacity building, lobbying, advocacy, and monitoring and evaluation of worker’s rights in Uganda. We also seek to provide legal aid to protect the human rights of workers.
