YaLa Young Leaders

YaLa Young Leaders is a peace movement of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) young leaders who are fostering dialogue and change. Founded in May 2011 by the Peres Center for Peace and YaLa Palestine, the movement has grown to more than 445,000 members, making it the broadest and fastest-growing Middle East peace movement today. YaLa Young Leaders work together to create and enact a new regional vision of freedom, equality, prosperity and peace. It is a movement that encourages its members to break down divisions and redraw the map to form a shared community. YaLa connects regional change-makers, allowing them to build their capacities as tomorrow's leaders, while emphasizing core issues such as human rights, gender equality, peace, higher education and economic development.
