About Us
Tigermountain Foundation (TMF) empowers community through our initiatives that include On the Job Development Landscaping and Community Gardens, TMF audio, visual and performance arts, community service and our spirit of volunteering.
TMF through its model of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) will empower communities to better itself from within to build community. In the communities we effect, there is high recidivism, bad health choices and a low ranking education system with closed schools. The TMF instructional and developmental concept is intergenerational, multi ethnic mentoring.
TMF brings a mosaic of educational opportunities.
The 4 educational tenants of TMF are:
- Financial Literacy
- Micro Business Enterprise
- Workforce Development
- Behavioral Health/Substance Abuse Education
These tenants address prevalent issues within the core of the effected community.
