MFC Tie-Dye Inc.

About Us

MFC Tie-Dye Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization on a mission to reduce global textile pollution through reuse and upcycling. Our organization works to create upcycled denim and tie-dye products out of textile waste sent to Ghana from the Global North and facilitate living wages for artisans within the creative economy in partnership with the Matilda Flow Inclusion (MFI) Foundation, a non-profit community-based organization in Greater Accra, Ghana. We also collaborate on research, education, and art advocacy projects around issues of pollution and environmental injustice.

We are a small organization run by a volunteer team with an annual budget between 20,000 and 30,000 USD since our founding. To-date, over 90% of MFC Tie-Dye Inc.’s funds have directly supported our upcycling partnership with our non-profit community-based partner in Ghana.

Our organization is remote, and our team members are spread out across the United States and world. All of our opportunities are open to individuals from any location who are interested.
