Plaideurs des Enfants et des Personnes Agées à risque (PEPA) (in French) and Pleaders of Children and Elderly People At Risk (in English) was founded in 2016 in the State of Minnesota working closely with PEPA-Africa founded in DR.Congo in 2007. The aim of the organization is to protect the human rights of vulnerable communities, including orphans, war orphaned children, children living in streets, children living in poor health conditions; women who are victims of human rights violations such as war time sexual violence, Promotes education and provide relief help in humanitarian emergencies. The team at PEPA also advocates for access to enabling national legal and policy environment for the promotion of affordable and equitable HIV, TB, HIV and Sexual reproductive health and rights services and treatment. The organization works in the following interventions;

-     Promoting and defending the human rights of key and vulnerable populations; including (i) advocacy on the rights of prisoners and access to HIV and TB treatment. (ii) Access to legal services for key populations including children, women and the elderly. (iii) Advocating for legal reform for access to harm reduction and the removal of criminal sanctions which criminalize People who use drugs (PWUDs). (iv) Access to affordable HIV, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Hepatitis C treatment in the Developing countries

-     Some of our projects focus on the promotion of Gender equity as well as the promotion of the SDGs including access to education

-     Promoting affordable education and empowering communities by supporting the education of vulnerable children, empowering youth and women in small business skills such as commerce, entrepreneurship , vocational training programs,

-     Contribute to the protection of the environment as threats to climate change,
