  • About Us

    The Communication Sciences and Disorders Department prepares students to diagnose and treat a variety of hearing and speech disorders in children, the elderly, or patients who have suffered speech or hearing trauma.

    We offer undergraduate and graduate programs in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and Speech Language Pathology.

    Students work with faculty and staff, engaging in academics as well as research that advances the body of knowledge in these areas. They also receive hands-on clinical practice in a variety of settings.

    A degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders can lead to career in health care, medicine, research, or education, including roles as speech pathologists, audiologists, special education teachers, speech and hearing therapists, counselors and consultants
