Wide Horizons Community Development Program

Wide Horizons is dedicated to social change involving migrant groups from Burma along the Thai-Burma border. We equip our students with the skills they need to develop and sustain their organizations, CBOs, and communities. We are a unique program in that we stress both character development and academic achievement in a setting framed by English immersion and cooperative learning and living. Students have a voice in the decision-making and process of the school. At Wide Horizons we believe all staff are accountable to the mission of the school and its partner organizations. We consistently try to practice and model the principles, values and work ethic we encourage in our graduates.
