About Us

The Global Partnerships Forum is a unique 501(c)(3) not-for-profit knowledge platform, providing changemakers with the tools to build innovative partnerships.  It convenes thought leaders, policy makers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and investors to address global challenges, and foster economic growth by moving the needle from aid to investment.

In 1997, when Ted Turner committed US$1 billion to support UN causes, it became clear that the needs of the underprivileged could not be addressed unilaterally, but require multi-level collaboration to achieve positive social change.  The GPF assists in creating Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships, utilizing the leadership role of the public and private sectors, and successful delivery mechanisms of civil society, to encourage investments for social good and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
