    We are currently seeking individuals interested in making a difference in the lives of foster youth. Foster Youth Services has an innovative volunteer program called Educational Representative that puts educational advocacy into action! An Educational Representative is a volunteer appointed by the Court as the designated educational rights holder for the child/youth currently under the jurisdiction of the Riverside County Juvenile Court. Educational Representatives are appointed when the court determines that the parent or guardian is unavailable, unable, or unwilling to exercise educational rights for the child. Educational representatives are the missing piece in the educational advocacy continuum.
