About Us

St. Louis Cinematheque (pronounced cinema-tek) is a two-year civic arts project that will promote a directory of creative professionals, create a library of 100+ short form digital films showcasing our city and its people, and establish the Sponsored Arts Fiscal Enterprise (SAFE), dedicated to facilitating projects and programs that bolster the overall economic infrastructure of the arts. Professionally written and produced, the films will debut locally with the opportunity for wider distribution. Best of all, the proceeds will return home through SAFE to drive the arts and economy of St. Louis.

Our mission is to use the collaborative process of filmmaking to inform, inspire and promote new economic capacities for St. Louis artists and bring an authentic creative experience to the residents of our region.
