  • About Us

The International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations was founded in 1992 to provide an international community for individual ALS/MND associations from around the world. Our vision is to engage with our members, prospective members and other organisations to share resources globally, advance awareness and support people with ALS/MND worldwide.

The Alliance functions primarily as a forum for the exchange of information on all aspects of the disease, including research and management of care. It also provides support to member associations through networking and sharing ideas on good practice. Its developing role is the advancement of patients’ views in discussions affecting the well-being of people with ALS/MND.  Today, members from more than 30 countries worldwide have joined in these efforts.
