Campion Foundation

  • About Us

The Campion Foundation was established in 2005 to leverage resources beyond simply sending out checks. We believe that creative collaborations among our experienced staff, risk-taking trustees and visionary nonprofit leaders can do far more than any of us can accomplish alone.

Our mission is to leverage foundation resources for the greatest possible impact in: • Wilderness: ensuring permanent preservation of ecologically important landscapes in northwest North America (Alaska, British Columbia, Yukon and Northwest Territories, Washington, Idaho, and Montana) that are threatened by development activities. • Homelessness: working to end the crisis of homelessness through public policy advocacy, systems change, and philanthropic leadership. • Capacity Building: strengthening the capacity of our grantees through strategic investments and building a supportive funding environment for a strong and resilient non-profit community.

Applications are accepted by invitation only.
