About Us
Democracy 21 and Democracy 21 Education Fund are nonpartisan, nonprofit organizations that work to strengthen our democracy, ensure the integrity and fairness of our government decisions and elections, and curb the undue influence of big money in American politics. The organization promotes ethics and lobbying reform, campaign finance reform, and other government integrity reforms to accomplish these goals.
The organizations plan a leading role as watchdogs in challenging the ethics, conflicts of interest, and abuses by those elected to high office. Democracy 21 monitors and participates in the legislative process. The Education Fund works to defend the constitutionality of campaign finance laws in the Supreme Court and the lower courts.
