Industrially grown and processed grain comes from a system that prioritizes uniformity over nutrition and flavor; that pays farmers the same low prices, regardless of quality; that stores grains from different sources in large silos, mills them together, and then sifts to create refined white flour. Community Grains is on a mission to restore a vibrant grain economy built on our core values of transparency, good farming, and true whole grains. We are a small, fast-growing company based in Oakland. Our pastas, flours, polentas, and breads are 100% whole grain and grown, milled, and manufactured in California.
