HappyActivist is an unincorporated, transpartisan political association and people-powered social action movement that practices a special kind of political kung fu: promoting things like peace, civility, accountability, fiscal responsibility, sustainability and yes, even happiness by supporting the change we want to see in the world through collective right action, awareness and outreach.
So what do we do?
First and foremost, we are active-ists for a better democracy, supporting the change we want to see in the world.
We’re not as much about standing our ground as we are about getting out of our own way and finding common ground so we can go about the business that our nation is good at – innovating and find workable solutions to our greatest issues.
We hold regular meetups, events, trainings and groups in our communities in order to strengthen our own resolve, share what we are learning, and open up the conversation to all that are interested in contributing as part of a solution.
We show up at protests, political campaigns, demonstrations and other such public events to remind all involved to play nice and be respect one another.
We fundraise in support of happy-centric focused innovators, legislation and initiatives. Overcoming gridlock in Washington and beyond by supporting the people and policies we can all agree with is a no-brainer.
We also support and engage with other such businesses, groups, causes, initiatives and events that also align with our vision.
