Odyssey Teen Camp

Odyssey Teen Camp is an overnight camp for teenagers located in New York's Hudson Valley. Odyssey Teen Camp began as Omega Teen Camp in 2002 in partnership with the Omega Institute. In 2014, the Omega Institute decided to leave the camp business. Our founder and director, Adam Simon, decided to continue the camp as Odyssey Teen Camp with the same mission: to help teenagers live authentic, joyful, courageous lives and be celebrated for exactly who they are.

At Odyssey, teens develop the confidence they need to have integrity and a sense of self that is not determined by the judgments of others. We operate as a community based on trust and love where teens make real, honest, and valuable friendships with many different people. Teens are able to let their guard down, relax, laugh, and learn about themselves. We provide campers the freedom they need to thrive while keeping them emotionally and physically safe. This is a safe space for teens to feel seen, respected, and supported.

Finally, each member of our community is an individual. Teens design their own program everyday. With over 50 different activities to choose from every day, campers can try out all sorts of new things and live through the principle of self-directed education while also meeting challenges and developing healthy relationships.
