    Position Overview

    The Volunteer Representative Contacter will play a vital role in helping us build connections with elected representatives across the country. This is a remote, flexible volunteer position for individuals passionate about political engagement, communication, and social impact.

    You will assist in reaching out to local, state, and national representatives to introduce them to The Seats Foundation and our mobile application. Your work will help create valuable partnerships and increase the app’s reach and adoption.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Outreach: Contact elected representatives (via email, phone, or social media) to introduce The Seats Foundation and invite them to join the platform.
    • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with key political figures and their teams to help increase engagement with the app.
    • Data Management: Track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records of interactions with representatives.
    • Follow-Up: Send timely follow-up messages to ensure representatives understand the value of our platform and its benefits for their constituents.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the Outreach and Marketing teams to tailor messages and approaches for different representatives.
    • Advocacy: Be a passionate advocate for the foundation’s mission and educate representatives on how our app can enhance transparency and accessibility.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: No prior experience required, but familiarity with government, politics, or public relations is a plus.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and professionally.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to track outreach efforts and maintain detailed records.
    • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
    • Passion: A genuine interest in civic engagement and the role of technology in fostering democratic processes.
    • Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of email, social media, and virtual communication tools (Google Docs, Zoom, etc.).
