    Position Overview

    The Seats Foundation is seeking a passionate Volunteer Marketing Director to lead our marketing strategy and communications efforts. This role is perfect for someone with a background in marketing, content creation, or public relations who is eager to apply their skills for a cause that will have a lasting impact on civic engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and Implement Strategy: Create and execute a marketing plan that amplifies The Seats Foundation's mission and mobile app.
    • Content Creation: Oversee the production of marketing materials (social media posts, newsletters, blog content, press releases, etc.).
    • Digital Presence Management: Manage and grow our digital presence across all platforms (website, social media, email).
    • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with other team members to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals and initiatives.
    • Track & Analyze: Monitor key performance metrics to measure success and optimize future marketing efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: Proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
    • Digital Skills: Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Leadership: Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
    • Passion: A deep interest in civic engagement, transparency, and technology for social good.
    • Tools: Experience with tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, or similar platforms is a plus.
