    Description

Looking for a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to work as a full-time employee in an established private practice. Therapist will provide psychotherapy to a high-functioning adult population in an individual outpatient setting, both in person and virtually.

Nova Psychotherapy is a small private practice located in historic building in the Back Bay. We offer individual therapy to adults, including college-aged students, who account for a large portion of our client population. The practice is expanding and looking to add a new therapist.

Clinical duties include conducting individual psychotherapy and attending bi-weekly staff meetings. Therapist will work a minimum of 30 hours from Monday to Friday from 2pm to 8pm, to maintain a caseload of 30 patients. Therapist is expected to work at the office at least 2 days per week and the option to work remotely the other 3 days.

Therapist will be an employee, not an independent contractor, and will be compensated on a fee-for-service basis, which includes meetings in addition to psychotherapy sessions. Benefits include health insurance reimbursement, 401K match, malpractice coverage, clinical supervision, and no-show protection. Practice will handle credentialing, referrals, first appointment scheduling, office maintenance and costs, all billing and accounting duties.

The ideal candidate would have strong clinical skills, commitment to providing quality services, and be able to work independently. Qualified applicants must have 2 years of post-master’s experience, hold a Master’s or Doctorate Degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., LICSW, or LMHC) in psychology, counseling, or social work; and have an independent license in the state of Massachusetts. Pre-licensed clinicians won't be considered. Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. A minimum of 1-year commitment is expected.

Please submit cover letter with application.
