    Description

    Who We Are

We’re Personified: a managed IT + cybersecurity services provider for campaigns, non-profits, and mission-aligned organizations. Our mission is to lead technology and security programs for our clients, enabling them to focus on their mission-critical work.

We act as an extension of our client teams — we handle all the responsibilities a traditional internal IT team would. We’re in our clients’ Slacks, we’re on a first-name basis with them (and their pets), we’re new hires’ first point of contact, and we’re the first stop for tech and cybersecurity issues. We aim to build trust, and we leverage this to keep the bad actors out.

Some of the biggest names in the progressive space have leaned on us as their trusted IT + cybersecurity partner. We are looking for top IT talent as we continue to scale our team.

    About the Role

The Partnerships Manager will play a key role in driving new client acquisition at Personified. This role is responsible for identifying and cultivating prospective clients, conducting outreach, building relationships, and managing the full lifecycle of the client acquisition process, from lead generation to signed contract. The work is highly relational. We collaborate closely with prospective client partners to understand their goals and challenges, and to determine how our services can best support their mission.

As a member of a small and growing Partnerships team, the Partnerships Manager will work closely with the Director of Partnerships and cross-functional colleagues to help shape strategy and contribute directly to the team’s growth and overall success. The ideal candidate is energized by goals, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who understand and are committed to the unique needs of mission-driven organizations.

As the Partnerships team expands, this role may take on management responsibilities, including oversight of a Partnerships Associate. We are looking for someone with demonstrated leadership potential who is excited to grow with the team.

    Responsibilities Overview:

    • Actively contribute to and execute the overall partnership strategy, identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing opportunities through in-depth market research.
    • Develop lead-gen targeting lists and conduct outbound to drive new client acquisition.
    • Independently manage the full lifecycle of assigned partnerships, from initial prospect calls to the proposal and pitch process through contracting.
    • Help develop and draft memos, proposals, pitch decks, and related collateral in collaboration with Partnership team, delivering first-rate materials that target an audience of C-Suite executives
    • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations throughout the acquisition process, serving as their primary point of contact from initial outreach through contract execution.
    • Lead negotiations for standard partnership agreements, securing mutually beneficial terms with Director oversight for complex deals.
    • Regularly track, analyze, and report on partnership KPIs, identifying trends, generating insights, and recommending optimizations.
    • Own and maintain accurate partnership information within the CRM, including deal stages, communications, and renewal tracking.
    • Actively participate in industry events and networking functions to build brand awareness and expand the partnership pipeline.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including client managers, operations, and technical staff, to ensure smooth handoffs, onboarding, and alignment through the client journey.
    • Proactively identify and implement improvements to internal workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
    • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team culture, with the potential to take on staff management responsibilities as the Partnerships team grows.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales, preferably within the technology industry.
    • Prior experience in business development or account management preferred; candidates with donor development experience may also be a strong fit.
    • Proven track record of managing the full acquisition lifecycle and consistently meeting or exceeding acquisition goals..
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with prospective clients by actively listening, learning about their priorities, and working together to identify services that best meet their needs
    • Solid understanding of the technology landscape, particularly in areas like IT, cybersecurity, or cloud computing.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
    • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Experience managing a Sales CRM is a plus (Salesforce, Hubspot, Pipedrive etc)
    • Experience working with non-profit organizations or in the political/campaign space is a plus.
    • Experience managing or mentoring staff, or demonstrated aptitude for team leadership and people management.
    • Willingness to travel as required.

What to Expect from the Hiring Process

    • Candidates can apply by hitting the 'Apply To Position' button and following the instructions.
    • We require all applicants to submit a resume and answer a set of application questions in lieu of a cover letter.
    • Applicants who move forward in the process will participate in a series of interviews with members of the Personified team and will be asked to complete a short skills assessment.
    • We encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible. We're looking to hire quickly and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
