Project Red Poppy

Our mission is to support veterans through donations and care packages, while also spreading awareness of challenges they face through advocacy, research, marketing, and community outreach.

Project Red Poppy is a youth-led initiative dedicated to honoring veterans and supporting their lives beyond service. We raise awareness about the countless challenges veterans face after returning home. Through care packages, research, media advocacy, and veteran-focused events, we aim to build a community that stands with those who served our country.

Goals:

As a newly founded organization, our primary focus is creating and distributing care packages for veterans. These include meaningful items (handwritten notes, donations) and essentials (toothbrushes, food) to these veterans. Long term, we aim to grow our impact and positively influence as many veterans’ lives as possible.

How We Work:

Project Red Poppy is organized into four teams:

Research Team: Writes & publishes articles on veteran-related topics.

Marketing Team: Leads our media advocacy through posts, reels, videos, and more.

Care Package Team: Assembles & distributes care packages to local organizations.

Veteran Outreach Team: Plans & runs events to fund future goals.
