    Description

    We are looking for an HR Generalist / People Business Partner to join our Global Talent Team.

    Purpose of the Role:

    As a People Business Partner (PBP), you will play a key role in aligning the people strategy with the business objectives of our internal and external teams across different regions.

    This is a remote-first position, but we're looking for someone based in Andalucía or nearby, as occasional in-person meetings or regional events may take place.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with area leaders to understand business goals and provide HR guidance and solutions that drive team and organizational success.
    • Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, ensuring the attraction and hiring of top talent and oversee onboarding programs to integrate new hires effectively and set them up for success.
    • Development: Develop and implement career path frameworks that promote growth and excellence.
    • Engagement: Conduct engagement surveys, analyze results, and drive initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and alignment and support managers on team dynamics, feedback delivery, and leadership best practices.
    • Performance Management & Organizational Design: Lead performance review processes, ensuring consistency, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
    • Culture & Innovation: Drive programs and initiatives that promote a purpose-driven and inclusive company culture and lead or support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts
    • Operational Excellence: Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry standards, manage workforce planning, compensation, and benefits programs effectively and provide HR support and guidance for remote, hybrid, and global teams, ensuring seamless operations and connectivity.

    Background:

    Professional Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a people business partner or similar capacity.
    • Proven experience supporting teams in a service-oriented or project-based industry. Experience in life sciences or translation is a plus.
    • Experience implementing employee engagement or culture-building initiatives in remote-first or hybrid environments. (Preferred)
    • Familiarity with the unique challenges of managing freelancers, contractors, and external vendors. (Preferred)

    Technical Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of HR best practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
    • English and Spanish are a must.
    • Knowledge of workforce trends in the life sciences or translation industry. (Preferred)

    Formal / Academic Background:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
