    About the Role

    We’re looking for a thoughtful, strategic Account Manager to guide our nonprofit clients through branding, website, and fundraising campaign engagements. You’ll serve as a key point of contact, building strong relationships, translating client goals into actionable plans, and ensuring creative work is aligned with mission and outcomes.

    This is a contract-to-hire role, ideal for someone looking to grow into a long-term leadership position on a small, collaborative team. You’ll work closely with our founder, project managers, and creative leads—helping us deliver exceptional client experiences and shape how we grow.

    What You’ll Do

    Client Strategy & Relationship Management

    • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, providing proactive, mission-aware guidance.
    • Lead discovery calls, check-ins, and presentations—ensuring clarity, alignment, and trust.
    • Help shape creative direction by connecting client goals with smart design and strategy.

    Campaign & Branding Leadership

    • Support development of digital fundraising campaigns that drive donor acquisition and engagement.
    • Guide branding projects—from naming and messaging to full visual identity systems.
    • Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to align deliverables with nonprofit best practices.

    Website Design & Development Account Management

    • Manage the client relationship throughout the lifecycle of web projects.
    • Work closely with project managers and the development team to ensure timelines, deliverables, and communication stay on track.
    • Ensure websites align with fundraising, accessibility, and storytelling goals.
    • Translate feedback and stakeholder input into clear, actionable directions for the internal team.

    Project & Team Coordination

    • Partner with designers, writers, and developers to ensure quality, alignment, and smooth delivery.
    • Track timelines and deliverables, flag risks, and support issue resolution as projects evolve.
    • Keep internal and client-facing documentation and communications organized.

    RFP & Proposal Support

    • Assist with responding to RFPs from prospective and current nonprofit clients.
    • Coordinate timelines and content with the founder and strategy team.
    • Help gather case studies, craft narrative responses, and ensure proposal submissions reflect our creative standards.

    Growth & Business Development

    • Identify ways clients can extend the value of our work through new services or project phases.
    • Collaborate with leadership to refine offerings based on client feedback and sector needs.
    • Help pitch new work to existing clients and support the onboarding of new accounts.

    What You Bring

    • 2–4 years of experience in account management at a creative agency, marketing studio, or nonprofit consultancy.
    • Experience with branding and website projects from kickoff to delivery.
    • Strategic thinking and calm, clear communication—you know how to guide clients and collaborate internally.
    • Familiarity with nonprofit digital strategy, fundraising tools, and CRM/CMS integrations.
    • Experience working on or contributing to proposal writing and RFP responses.
    • A passion for the nonprofit sector and a love for well-executed design and storytelling.

    Compensation

    This is a contract-to-hire position.

    • $45–$60/hour, depending on experience
    • Opportunity to transition to full-time salaried role with benefits after 3–6 months based on performance and mutual fit
    • Annual compensation potential (if converted): $60K–$90K+, plus bonus
    1. Bonus structure: Earn 5%–5% commission on any upsold services or add-on work
