Volunteer for the GCLI Youth Conference: “Youth Power = The Answer"

We are reaching out to invite you to be a part of something powerful and inspiring—our upcoming GCLI Youth Conference: “Youth Power = The Answer", is happening on Friday, August 2nd.

We’re currently building our volunteer team, and we’d love for you to join us in creating an energizing and impactful experience for young leaders from our community. The event will be a full day of fun youth empowerment with focus areas on storytelling, organizing, mental health, and the arts.

What We Need

We’re seeking dedicated and passionate volunteers to help in a variety of roles, including:

• Volunteer Leads – Oversee assignments and serve as the go-to for volunteer needs
• Setup & Breakdown Crews – Help us set up and close out the space
• Registration & Check-In – Greet and check in attendees
• Safety Monitors – Keep our youth safe and supported throughout the day
• Workshop Support Leads – Provide emotional/moral support and help facilitate transitions
• Transportation Proctors – Support check-in and coordination with parents and youth
• Tech Support – Keep things running
• And more!

We’ll assign final roles based on your availability, interests, and comfort level—don’t worry if you’re not sure where you fit just yet.

Your Commitment

To make this event successful, we’re asking volunteers to commit to:

• Attending as much of the full day as possible on August 2nd
• Being available for a brief training and logistics meeting prior to the event
• Bringing positive energy and a team mindset—we’re all in this together!
