    Join our team! We are seeking someone with strong supervisory and program management skills to oversee our ecological and community programs in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and Suisun Marsh. This position offers a unique opportunity to not only manage programs that make a difference, but also to work closely with executive management to shape the organization’s programs.

    The Conservancy is a small, committed, and collaborative team that works across departments and disciplines to protect, enhance, and restore the Delta's economy, agriculture and working landscapes, and environment.

    In this position you will:

    • Oversee the implementation of the Conservancy’s Ecological Restoration and Climate Adaptation and Community Enhancement programs.
    • Supervise, develop, and direct a professional team of staff in carrying out the Conservancy’s 2022-2027 Strategic Plan.
    • Manage complex projects that advance ecosystem restoration, climate adaptation, nature-based solutions, community enhancement, and agricultural sustainability in the Delta.
    • Lead special initiatives that support and advance the Conservancy’s mission.
    • Communicate with Conservancy management and Board, interested parties (e.g., non-profits, community-based organizations, public agencies, tribes), all levels of government, and other entities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships and build partnerships within the Delta community, including non-profits, community-based organizations, public agencies, tribal entities, and more.
