    Chelsea Prospers is the City of Chelsea's downtown initiative for neighborhood vitality. Through events, neighborhood beautification efforts, and business support programs we're bringing a fresh spark to this historic neighborhood of immigrants.

    About Us

    Chelsea Prospers is a relatively new program. Coming up for 2019:

    Chelsea Night Market, featuring a variety of street food and craft vendors, cutting edge performances, and art installations

    Gallery 456 highlighting community artists and local history

    Fiesta Verano, a celebration of Latin American music, this year with a cowboy twist

    Pupusa Fiesta, highlighting the savory treat that originated in El Salvador

    and more!

    Our goals:

    • Engage community stateholders as active partners in the advancement of downtown Chelsea.
    • Activate the district with cultural and social events that engage the local businesses.
    • Strengthen downtown businesses through district marketing and business technical assistance.
    • Create a welcoming environment through design and beautification of public spaces and facilitating façade improvement of commercial properties.
