    PAC Business Manager (Senior Staff Assistant, SL-3)The Performing Arts Center at Purchase College invites applications for a full-time Business Manager to support the General Manager and the campus team in administering the PAC's daily accounting activities and overall financial operations of an evolving performing arts hub nested within a college community.About Us:The Performing Arts Center (PAC) is a four-theater complex nested on the campus of Purchase College and a major arts presenter serving the Westchester, Fairfield, and Rockland County region. For more than 40 years, The PAC has been the hub of a creative community that brings together internationally acclaimed artists and rising stars, creative practitioners, student artists and K-12 programming. The Center hosts multiple student, rental and touring events alongside a presenting season each year and supports campus related events for a highly creative college community.As The Performing Arts Center continues to activate its event spaces in new ways, we are excitedly building on our extraordinary past and re-defining ourselves as a leading university presenter that better serves our campus and public community. This role is essential to supporting the success of the organization's financial health. The Key Responsibilities of the Position:
    • Responsible for overseeing all financial aspects for The PAC's ticketing and presented events including drafting income and expense projections, coordination of event settlement packets, and overseeing integration of ticketing income and event expenses between LEAP/Patron Manager ticketing software, Financial Edge and Momentus/VenueOps software systems.
    • Regularly reconcile earned income recorded in LEAP/Patron Manager ticketing system with Purchase College Foundation general ledger, including supervising Box Office Manager's weekly ticket sale reports and preparing monthly reconciliation.
    • Oversee the Box Office Manager in ensuring smooth operation of Box Office sales through campus systems and ensure smooth financial reporting of all Box Office sales.
    • Support the General Manager in budget planning and work collaboratively with the College's Finance Department and the PCF team regarding financial matters.
    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and characteristics:
    • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 2 years relevant experience required.
    • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
    • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and strong problem-solving skills.
    • Experience with Financial Edge and/or LEAP/Patron Manager ticketing software a plus, but not required.
    • Committed collaborator, team member and communicator with the ability to take initiative, and bring an enthusiastic and optimistic outlook.
    • Previous experience in Box Office or Arts Administration is a plus but not required.
