    Description

    Community Health Partners Uganda (CHPU) is offering an exciting internship opportunity for international students passionate about global health, youth empowerment, and gender equality. Under the Triple Threat Project, CHPU is addressing the interconnected challenges of Teenage Pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and Sexual & Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) through integrated community-based interventions.

    Interns will gain hands-on experience working with grassroots communities, supporting program implementation, advocacy, research, and outreach activities that directly impact vulnerable adolescents and young women in Uganda.

    CHPU provides non-financial and in-kind support to ensure a productive internship experience:

    • Local Transport: Transport facilitation for all field activities outside the office.
    • Meals in the Field: Light snacks and lunch provided during fieldwork days.
    • Mentorship: Close supervision and guidance from experienced staff.
    • Certificate of Completion and Letter of Recommendation upon successful completion.

    Note: This internship is unpaid. Interns are responsible for international travel, visas, insurance, and accommodation. CHPU provides documentation support for visa and placement confirmations.
