About the position
Glasswing is seeking an intern to support our digital communications and outreach. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about Glasswing’s mission and who wants to gain experience at a visible and respected nonprofit. Reporting to the US Director of Communications, this role is ideal for a self-starting, fast-learning, and creative individual. The intern will be part of a small and dynamic team, assisting with:
The ideal candidate will have an interest in social good and nonprofits generally, and specifically a propensity for marketing, content, and communications. They should also be interested in fundraising and development. We’re seeking someone with a “can-do” attitude who works well with others and is skilled at multitasking.
This role is hybrid, with on-site days at Glasswing’s New York office in the Financial District. Occasionally, the intern may also visit schools where Glasswing has programs in New York City, to learn and communicate about our on-the-ground work.
Additional Qualifications
Time commitment: 15 hours per week through December, with possibility of an extension. A monthly stipend will be provided.
