    Research Intern, President's Office (Fall 2025; Part-Time)

    Carnegie Endowment for International Peace

    The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a global network of policy research centers, is seeking a part-time intern to support Carnegie's President. This position will be paid ($20 to $26 per hour), and the hours are flexible (up to 18 hours per week). This internship position is open to remote candidates.

    The research intern will assist with various projects that may deal with legal developments in the United States, including those related to administrative law, and artificial intelligence, as well as biotechnology, democracy, political economy, and regional politics. The research intern will also assist with review and analysis of internal data and information on the think tank sector generally, as well as internal Carnegie projects.

    The ideal candidate will be a current JD or LLM student with a strong, relevant research background. Candidates should be organized with strong attention to detail, be able to work independently, and be responsive to time-sensitive tasks. They should complete projects quickly without sacrificing quality and accuracy.
