    Description

*You must be available for the August Summit and a college student to be eligible for this fellowship*

Are you a college student in the United States concerned about the growing power of billionaires who are eroding our democracy, dismantling social safety nets, and driving us further toward climate disaster? From surveillance companies like Peter Thiel’s Palantir helping ICE with mass deportations, to Elon Musk using his wealth and platform to promote hate and manipulate elections, a handful of ultra-wealthy broligarchs want to rule the world. The Trump regime is attacking academic freedom and free speech on campus, attempting to squash opposition and control young people who have been at the forefront of powerful movements for social change.

It’s not too late to stop them.

This Summer/Fall, join a national cohort of student organizers who are taking bold action to expose and challenge the influence of billionaires on campus. Through a 3-day summit and paid semester-long organizing fellowship you’ll gain the skills and get support to run strategic campaigns to counter billionaire power on campus.

We are looking for fellows who are ready to push back and work toward a future where people and the planet are cared for.

    The program:

    • Student Summit: Attend a 3-day summit the week of August 18-22 (exact dates will be announced soon!) most likely in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, with student fellows from around the country. Travel expenses will be paid.

Fellows will learn critical organizing skills and work on campaign plans during the gathering. We’ll give you practical guides on how to run anti-recruitment, divestment, and other strategic campaigns that undermine the growing influence of techno-fascists on your campus.

    • Fellowship: Get paid for 10 hours/week of organizing (at $22/hr) on your campus from September through December. The goal — to kickstart a high profile campaign against the broligarchs on your college campus this Fall.

The strongest candidates will have some organizing experience and already be plugged into organizing and activist groups on their campus. However, organizing experience is not required—just a passion to fight for our freedom and a desire to learn to organize strategically.

Apply by July 31st for priority consideration; all applications received after that will be reviewed on a rolling basis. You must be available for the in-person August summit to be eligible for the fellowship!
