    Description

    Concordia Conservatory is looking for an Administrative Assistant Intern for its Bronxville, NY location. The admin intern will support the daily operations of Concordia Conservatory through a variety of administrative, educational, and programmatic tasks. This paid internship is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in arts administration, education, or nonprofit management who wishes to gain hands-on experience in a community music school setting.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Director of the Conservatory.
    • Assist with event planning, promotion, and execution for Conservatory programs, including recitals, concerts, and community events.
    • Coordinate and support social media activities and marketing campaigns.
    • Perform administrative office duties including drafting correspondence, responding to emails, answering and making phone calls, and preparing documents.
    • Assist in preparing letters, memos, meeting materials, and grant-related documents.
    • Support faculty, staff, and students as needed during Conservatory programs and performances.
    • Communicate with kindness, clarity, and professionalism in all interactions.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, staff, faculty, and the community.
    • Exhibit a cheerful, team-oriented attitude toward the Conservatory’s mission and goals.
    • Strive for continuous improvement in organizational and administrative skills.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Current college student or recent graduate preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in computer applications (Mac OS, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office).
    • Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable.
    • Ability to identify with and support the mission of Concordia Conservatory.
