About the role

• This is a full-time position (40 hours weekly).
• This position will work onsite at the CCO headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.

Purpose of the position:

• The Director of Finance leads all areas of the organization's financial reporting. This leader is responsible for maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements; addresses a multitude of accounting activities; and manages and supervises the Finance team to ensure appropriate resource allocation and that is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting required. Management/supervisory experience is preferred.

Job Description:

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Responsible for processing the CCO payroll.
• Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
• Supervise the finance department staff to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
