Compassion & Choices is seeking a Philanthropy Officer to help advance our advocacy, medical outreach and education efforts across the country.
This position is responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding five and six figure gifts from prospects and major donors in the Southeast - specifically: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, District of Columbia and Maryland. The ideal candidate must have a track record of soliciting and closing major gifts, an understanding of moves management and demonstrated experience developing long term philanthropic relationships while consistently meeting fundraising goals - while living in the Southeast. Experience closing six figure gifts from individuals is preferred.
This is a full-time, remotely-located but Southeast-based, paid position reporting to the Philanthropy Manager. Compensation offered will be commensurate with experience.
