    Description

    The American Association for Justice (AAJ) works to preserve the constitutional right to trial by jury and to make sure people have a fair chance to seek justice when they are injured by the negligence or misconduct of others—even when it means taking on the most powerful corporations.

    AAJ is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for its Marketing department. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for facilitating email production and supporting the daily operations of the Marketing department. This position requires a proactive and creative individual who will contribute to the ongoing improvement and effectiveness of the association’s marketing strategies.

    Essential Duties Include (but not limited to):

    • Coordinate association wide email calendar, as well as produce communications within the Hubspot platform.
    • Maintain external vendor relationships and facilitate procurement of various projects including signage and promotional products.
    • Assist with the creation of digital and print content, including light graphic design work where needed.
    • Track, index, and maintain multimedia library.
    • Work in close collaboration with numerous association departments to support the Association’s initiatives.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree is required. A degree in Marketing or a closely related discipline is preferred.
    • A minimum of two years’ work experience in an office, non-profit, or association setting preferred; experience working in the legal field or with legal professionals is a plus.
    • Strong organizational skills and proven experience with completing projects on tight deadlines, within budget, and handling multiple projects at one time.
    • Efficiency and attention to detail required; experience of proofreading preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly interact across departments and with staff at all levels.
    • Ability to work independently and show good judgment.
    • Computer literacy, including proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and database programs (such as Netforum) required.
    • Working knowledge of CRM software and email automation software.
    • Experience with Canva or basic design software.

    Salary Range: $52,000- $58,000
