    The HR Systems & Operations Generalist plays a pivotal role in executing and overseeing core global HR systems functions across Bible League International’s (BLI) workforce. This HR systems and operations focused position combines expertise in HR information systems (HRIS), data management, and process optimization. The HR Generalist leverages technology and analytics to strengthen decision-making, enhance employee engagement, and optimize HR operations globally.

    Duties

    Core HR Functions:

    • Payroll Administration: Serve as the primary contact for global payroll operations, overseeing relationships with internal teams and Employers of Record (EOR) providers across multiple countries.
    • Payroll Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing for U.S. and international staff.
    • Employee Recognition & Intranet: Oversee employee recognition initiatives and maintain HR updates on BLI’s intranet platform.
    • Internal Communications: Develop and distribute the biannual HR newsletter.
    • Learning Management System (LMS): Administer the LMS and design training programs to support global staff development.
    • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.

    Systems-Focused Responsibilities:

    • HRIS Management: Maintain and optimize HR information systems (e.g., ADP).
    • Data Reporting & Analytics: Generate and analyze HR metrics (headcount, turnover, compensation trends) to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
    • System Integrations: Collaborate with IT and vendors to integrate and streamline HR systems.
    • Employee Experience: Support user training, resolve system access issues, and enhance self-service capabilities for staff and managers.
    • System Training & Documentation: Provide system training and maintain instructional guides for HR platforms.
    • Files and Retention: Oversee digital file conversion and retention processes.
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement system-based solutions to streamline HR processes. Ability to assess all current HR Systems and process to include HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) performance management (Cognito Forms), benefits enrollment platform (EASE), LMS Trainual), BLI intranet, compliance training provider (Syntrio) to streamline and maximize our HRIS where possible.

    Organizational Relationships

    • Reports to: Director of Human Resources.
    • Collaborates with: HR Team, People &Culture, global staff, leadership, and HR vendors.

    Qualifications

    1. Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
    2. Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience. Global HR experience is strongly preferred.
    3. PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification required.
    4. Minimum of 2 years of payroll processing experience; ADP payroll experience preferred.
    5. Strong knowledge of HRIS, LMS, AI-driven HR analytics, and applicant tracking systems.
    6. Acumen in learning and development with the ability to design training and effectively present to both staff and leadership.
    7. Experience with cross-cultural HR management and global employment laws.
    8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in leading meetings and presentations.
    9. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
    10. Proactive, growth-oriented, and highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
    11. Ability to collaborate across multiple global time zones to support effective communication.
    12. Willingness to occasionally travel internationally based on organizational needs.

    Performance Evaluations

    You will meet with your manager quarterly in alignment with our fiscal year to discuss your accomplishments and priorities.
