    The Federation is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with a variety of skill sets who wants to join a team working to build a new model of 21st century and next generation Federation engagement.

    ROLE SUMMARY

    The Federation seeks an experienced Event Producer to lead and execute all production elements of the Day of Philanthropy, our signature annual fundraising event. The program features a high-profile luncheon along with two smaller pre- and post-event experiences. The Producer will be responsible for managing all presentation elements including technical coordination, stage design, speaker flow, and overall production quality, ensuring a seamless and impactful guest experience.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Program & Presentation Management

    • Develop and manage the Run of Show for each program element, including timing, screen content, scripts, speaker flow, and Q&A facilitation.
    • Oversee presentations and media content, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with the event theme and messaging.
    • Lead on-site rehearsals, including timing, technical checks, and coaching speakers or emcees as needed.

    Technical Production

    • Partner with the A/V production team (Encore) to implement top-tier solutions for audio, video, lighting, and stage management. Oversee all set-up and break-down as needed.
    • Ensure optimal use of microphones, screens, video cameras, lighting, and music for all three event components.
    • Collaborate with the videographer for content capture and any live-to-tape needs.

    Stage Design & Visual Aesthetic

    • Work with the event and marketing teams to bring the creative vision to life through stage décor, furniture, backdrops, and risers.
    • Ensure cohesive visual branding across all program spaces.

    Day-Of Leadership & Troubleshooting

    • Serve as lead stage manager throughout the day, maintaining flow and handling last-minute changes with professionalism and discretion.
    • Coordinate in real-time with A/V staff, speakers, and Federation leads to ensure smooth execution.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site technical or scheduling issues as they arise.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

    • Experience producing live events, with a strong understanding of technical production and show flow
    • Background in non-profit or fundraising events is strongly preferred.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Calm under pressure and highly responsive to last-minute changes.
    • Experience managing vendor teams and high-profile speakers/talent.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    5+ years' experience producing live events

    Contract Duration:

    • Pre-Event Prep: August–November 2025 (10 hours a week until November)
    • On-Site: Full day on November 20, 2025, including early setup, rehearsal, and full program management
