    Description

    The Director of Homecare plays a critical role in ensuring that Holocaust survivors receive the highest quality of compassionate, person-centered homecare services. This position provides dedicated oversight to guarantee that services consistently meet and exceed the rigorous standards of our funding sources and JCCGCI’s internal policies, while leading and inspiring a team of caring social workers committed to doing everything possible for the individuals they serve.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Ensure homecare services are delivered at the highest standards of quality, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
    • Maintain oversight to confirm each client receives appropriate, timely, and compliant care and support.
    • Authorize and monitor service levels, ensuring regular reassessments to meet evolving client needs.
    • Lead quality improvement efforts, including client satisfaction surveys and performance evaluations.
    • Supervise and support a dedicated team of social workers and case managers, fostering a culture of compassion and accountability.
    • Clearly communicate program mission and goals, empowering staff to advocate fully for clients.
    • Model integrity, empathy, and commitment to keep the team deeply client-centered.
    • Oversee daily operations, including assessments, service authorizations, and accurate recordkeeping.
    • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Social Work Supervisor, Fiscal, MAP program) for seamless service delivery.
    • Conduct outreach to ensure all eligible Holocaust survivors can access services; maintain waiting list as needed.
    • Address and resolve clients’ concerns thoughtfully, always prioritizing dignity and quality of life.
    • Serve as the primary liaison to partner homecare agencies; manage contracts and onboard new partners.
    • Prepare and present clear reports, updates, and recommendations to leadership and funders.
    • Represent JCCGCI as a subject-matter expert and advocate for Holocaust survivor care.

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in social work or a related field required.
    • At least three years of human services experience, with prior management responsibility.
    • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated commitment to delivering the highest standard of client-centered care.

    This role is Full-Time, On-Site, 35 hours per week.

    Salary: $115,000 - $130,000.00 annually
