    Position Summary

    LEAP is seeking a dedicated ROAg Coordinator to lead the implementation of regenerative organic agriculture practices within our Community Learning Gardens (CLG) and manage a USDA Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG). This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on sustainability with community-based grant leadership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage day-to-day operations and compliance of USDA CIG-funded initiatives
    • Lead monthly grant meetings with internal teams and external partners
    • Guide regenerative organic practices at garden sites
    • Coordinate outreach with farmworker and frontline communities
    • Support data tracking, evaluation, and reporting
    • Develop budgets and contribute to fundraising strategies
    • Promote equity-centered, environmentally sound practices through innovation

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years in grant/program management or nonprofit coordination
    • Degree in agriculture, environmental studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Familiarity with program budgeting and project planning
    • Strong communication skills (written/verbal); bilingual English/Spanish preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and project tools
    • Passion for sustainability, justice, and grassroots leadership
    • San Joaquin Valley or Central Valley experience is a plus!
