    Description

    The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator will provide administrative and clerical support with various HR processes including benefits administration, onboarding, orientation, offboarding and general HR inquiries. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career HR professional interested in learning and growing in a mission-driven non-profit organization. The HR coordinator will be reporting to the Associate Vice President of Human Resources.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist with the recruitment process, including job postings and providing guidance to Directors and Supervisors during the hiring process
    • Administer new hire paperwork, including I-9 verification and onboarding materials
    • Facilitate HR Induction, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires to the organization
    • Manage annual open enrollment, leading all communication efforts including coordination with vendors, and scheduling of employee education sessions
    • Prepare all monthly, quarterly, and annual benefit billing
    • Assist in the preparation of semi-monthly payroll in an accurate and timely manner
    • Oversee the administration of medical leaves, and ensure compliance based on local, state and federal employment laws and regulations (FMLA, STD, LTD, PFL, Worker’s Compensation, ADA, Title VII, ERISA, Sexual Harassment)
    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters in a timely manner
    • Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS)
    • Manage the off-boarding process for departing employees, including unemployment notices and claims
    • Support the AVP of HR with assignments and special projects, as needed

    Qualities/Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree required
      • 2+ years of HR experience preferred
      • Strong organizational and time management skills
      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
      • Must be able to multi-task while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
      • Proficiency in using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
      • Must maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
      • Must take initiative and be creative in problem solving
      • Demonstrated belief in Posse’s mission and values
